  • Montrose, CO – Lillian Nelson, a 5'9" setter from Montrose, Colorado, has officially announced her commitment to continue her academic and volleyball career with the Gillette College Volleyball program.
  • Nelson has been a standout performer throughout her high school career, earning First Team All-Conference honors all four years and being named First Team All-State as a senior. She played a key role in her team's success, helping lead them to a Regional Championship and a Final Four appearance. Over the course of her career, Nelson accumulated an impressive 3,088 assists, solidifying her reputation as one of the top setters in the region.
  • "When I visited, I immediately knew I wanted to go there," Nelson said. "I felt comfortable being there and was excited to come back when I left. Once I met the coaches and the team, I felt comfortable and excited about what the future holds."
  • Nelson's leadership, consistency, and high-level volleyball IQ have made her an invaluable asset on the court. Her ability to run an offense and elevate her teammates has set her apart throughout her career.
