Cowboy State rosters announced for the 2026 Wyoming-Montana All-Star Series
Gillette, WY — April 27, 2026 — Wyoming and Montana All-Star Boys Basketball Series Celebrates 50th Anniversary with Exciting Matchup and Special Commemorations
The State of Wyoming proudly announces the roster of the 2026 Wyoming All-Star Boys' Basketball Team, set to represent the Cowboy State in the highly anticipated Wyoming-Montana All-Star Series. This year's series marks a historic milestone — the 50th anniversary of this legendary basketball event, and special recognition plans are underway to honor this significant achievement.
The 2026 Wyoming team features eight outstanding players who have earned multiple All-State awards, exemplifying their talent, dedication, and leadership on the court. Among the roster, four players are already committed to continue their basketball careers at the collegiate level, with additional college commitments expected in the near future.
The Wyoming-Montana All-Star Series has long been a cherished tradition, fostering sportsmanship, competition, and camaraderie between neighboring states. As the 50th anniversary approaches, organizers are preparing a series of commemorative events to celebrate the legacy of this historic rivalry and showcase the incredible talent of Wyoming's young basketball stars.

-Jack Andela, Campbell County, 6'8 forward, first team 2X 4a all-state (Caroll College)
-Cody Bomengen, Thermopolis, 6'6 forward, 2x 3a all-state (Gillette College)
-Trypp Burtsfield, Thunder Basin, 6'0 guard
-Mason Eager, Kelly Walsh, 6'3 guard, 4a all-state
-Cooper Lancaster, Star Valley, 6'5 guard, 2x 4a all-state
-Nate Miner, Sheridan, 65 guard, 2x 4a all-state (Rocky Mountain College)
-Gavin Patik, Natrona County, 6'4 forward, 4a all-conference
-Collin Roberts, Douglas, 6'0 guard, 2x 3a all-state (Northwest College)
-Owen Walker, Lovell, 6'6 forward, 2x 3a all-state.

The Wyoming girls' team, fresh off breaking a 16-game losing streak against Montana last year, will enter the series with newfound confidence. The girls' all-time series has seen the Montana All-Stars dominate with a record of 42 wins to Wyoming's 14. This year's roster highlights All-State award winners and 5 college commitments.

- Elizabeth Needham – Cheyenne Central High School- Committed to play NJCAA basketball at Laramie Community College
- Cashlynn Haws-Cheyenne East High School – Serve a Mission in Tacloban, Philippines
- Camryn Wagner– Sheridan High School-Attend University of Utah
- Reece McGrath – Thunder Basin High School-Attend University of Wyoming
- Ashtyn Ketchum – Thunder Basin High School-Attend University of Wyoming
- Addy Rouse – Thunder Basin High School-Attend Nova Southeastern University
