Gillette College Rodeo Signs Top Talent for 2024-2025 Season
The Gillette College Rodeo Team has proudly welcomed a talented group of student-athletes to their roster for the upcoming season. The team has secured commitments from Brylee Grubb (Belle Fourche, South Dakota), Kevi Broncho (Blackfoot, Idaho), Keyton Hayden (Gillette, Wyoming), Dalton Porch (Kadoka, South Dakota), and Pace Garrett (Wright, WY), and Cam Johnson (Buffalo, SD).
Gillette, WY, June 10, 2024 - The Gillette College Rodeo Team has proudly welcomed a talented group of student-athletes to their roster for the upcoming season. The team has secured commitments from Brylee Grubb (Belle Fourche, South Dakota), Kevi Broncho (Blackfoot, Idaho), Keyton Hayden (Gillette, Wyoming), Dalton Porch (Kadoka, South Dakota), and Pace Garrett (Wright, WY), and Cam Johnson (Buffalo, SD).
Brylee Grubb is a multievent cowgirl, participating in barrels, goat tying, breakaway, and team roping. She is a multiple National High School Finals qualifier and will be an asset for the team. Kevi Broncho, a transfer student from CWC, has experience in the Central Rocky Mountain Region and has achieved multiple rodeo placings in breakaway and team roping. Keyton Hayden competes in tie-down roping and team roping and was recently crowned the Wyoming State High School Rodeo tie-down roping champion, all-around champion, and men's cutting champion. Dalton Porch from South Dakota has found success in tie-down roping, steer wrestling, and team roping. Lastly, Cam Johnson works in team roping and tie-down roping, while Pace Garrett, grandson of saddle bronc riding legend and Gillette College roughstock coach Marvin Garrett, is also joining the team.
The team's leadership expressed great enthusiasm about the potential these new additions bring to the already strong and successful team. By combining the fresh energy and skills of these new recruits with the experience of returning student-athletes, the Gillette College Rodeo Team aims to compete for both regional and national titles.
