Gillette College is thrilled to announce the signing of Trey Bohmbach, a talented cowboy with a bright future in the rodeo world. Trey, a native of Stanley, North Dakota, has already achieved impressive success in high school rodeo competitions, including being a 2x NDHSRA Steer wrestling champion and a champion at the OK Livestock Shootout.
Trey comes from a rodeo family, with his parents, Jed and Jodi Bohmbach, supporting his passion for the sport. In addition to his rodeo accomplishments, Trey has excelled academically, maintaining a 3.4 GPA and earning a spot on the honor roll throughout high school.
With plans to major in Agriculture Business, Trey chose Gillette College for its reputation as a top-notch rodeo program and the opportunity to train alongside highly talented teammates. He is quoted saying, " I chose Gillete because when I visited it seemed like the place that fit me best. My cousin an buddy have attended there the last 2 years and said they wouldn't have wanted to go anywhere else. It seems like a place you get better with other kids an get lots of practice with highly talanted kids."
The addition of Bohmbach will add more all-around event depth to the men's team. Coach Laduke is looking forward to the fall season with a team he feels like is shaping up nicely, with a good mix of rough stock and timed event cowboys, such as Bohmbach.
Trey's signing with Gillette College is a testament to the college's commitment to recruiting top-tier rodeo talent and helping student-athletes reach their full potential. We can't wait to see what the future holds for Trey Bohmbach at Gillette College.
