Gillette College is thrilled to announce the signing of standout basketball player, Tracee I'Nze Hullaby, from Dallas, Texas. The talented point guard from North Forney High School has made a name for herself with impressive accolades and a strong academic record.
During her senior season, Hullaby led her team in scoring, rebounding, and assists, earning her Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2022-2023. She also received the Coachable Award in 2021-2022 and was named Offensive Player of the Year in 2020-2021 and 2023-2024. Her academic achievements include being an A Honor Roll student, as well as a member of the Student Counseling Club.
This season, Hullaby averaged 11 points per game, 4 rebounds per game, and 3 assists per game. Hullaby is eager to join the Gillette College Pronghorns and contribute to the team's success.
In addition to her basketball pursuits, Hullaby plans to study nursing with a focus on becoming an anesthesiologist or pediatric nurse. She is drawn to the field because of her passion for helping others, particularly babies. When considering colleges, Hullaby was drawn to Gillette College's strong sense of community and family-oriented atmosphere. "I felt like I was at home," she said. "I'm excited to be a Pronghorn!"
