Gillette College WBB Welcomes First Signee of 2025
Gillette, WY – Gillette College Women's Basketball is thrilled to announce the signing of its first recruit for the 2025 class, Meghna Vinodhram, a talented 5'9 guard from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Vinodhram, who has garnered multiple athletic and academic honors during her time at Kilbreda College in Mentone, will add invaluable depth and skill to the Pronghorns' roster.
In her senior season, Meghna showcased her ability on the court with exceptional stats, averaging 18.33 points per game, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and an impressive field goal percentage of 40%, alongside a remarkable free throw percentage of 93%. Her contributions earned her numerous accolades, including the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award and a place on the All-Star 5 BigV as a guard in 2024. Additionally, she was recognized for her dedication and teamwork through several coaches' awards over the years.
Vinodhram has also made a significant impact at the club level, playing for the Southern Peninsula Women's Victorian team, where she helped lead her team to become Premier Champions in 2023. Her journey in basketball reflects her commitment to excellence, both on and off the court.
Beyond her athletic achievements, Meghna is dedicated to her academic pursuits, having received the Academic Achievement Award and the Biology Academic Endeavor Award at Kilbreda College. She plans to major in Life Science while at Gillette College, merging her passion for sports with her interest in science.
