Georgina Sosa Sió Signs with Pronghorns

Gillette, WY -June 27, 2025-Georgina Sosa Sió, a talented young basketball player from Badalona, Spain, has officially committed to continue her athletic career for the Pronghorns. The 5'7" guard has demonstrated exceptional skill and leadership on and off the court. 

A proud alumnus of Escoles Minguella, Georgina has made a mark in the basketball community through her impressive achievements and dedication to the sport. Her notable accolades include being named MVP at the 2017 Copa Puleva, a prestigious Spanish tournament, as well as leading her teams to multiple victories and high placements in regional and national competitions.

Her competitive highlights include:

- MVP at the Copa Puleva (2017)

- Winner of the Catalan Championship (2021)

- Fifth place at the Spanish Championship (2021)

- Second place at the Catalan Championship (2022)

- Second place at the Catalan Championship (2024)
