Pronghorns Welcome Additional Assistant Coach Jalen Callender
Gillette College Women's Basketball is proud to announce the addition of Jalen Callender to the 2025-2026 coaching staff as the program's newest assistant coach.
A native of Caldwell, Idaho, Callender brings both playing and coaching experience to the Pronghorns. She competed at the College of Southern Idaho, gaining firsthand knowledge at the junior college level before continuing her career at Montana State University–Northern, where she completed her playing eligibility.
While finishing her degree in Integrated Health Sciences at MSU–Northern, Callender stayed connected to the game as a student assistant coach during the 2024–25 season. That experience helped her build coaching skills while working closely with athletes, preparing her for the next step in her career.
Her background as a JUCO athlete gives her a unique perspective as she joins Gillette College, and Callender is eager to begin her role with the Pronghorns. "I'm excited to join the Gillette College family and contribute to the women's basketball program," she said. "Junior college played such a big role in my development as a player and person, and I'm grateful for the chance to help other athletes grow and succeed."
Gillette College Athletics is thrilled to welcome Coach Callender and looks forward to the impact she will make on the Pronghorn women's basketball program.
