Pronghorns Sign Idaho Guard Lauren Christiansen
Gillette, WY — April 2026 — The Gillette College women's basketball program is excited to announce the signing of Lauren Christiansen, a 5'8" guard from Blackfoot, Idaho.
Christiansen brings a strong defensive presence, high activity level, and the ability to impact the game in multiple areas. A standout at Blackfoot High School, she earned Defensive Player of the Year honors along with Second Team All-Conference recognition, while helping lead her team to two district championships.
Known for her toughness and effort on both ends of the floor, Lauren consistently contributes as a rebounder and playmaker, averaging 5.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 2.5 steals per game. Her ability to disrupt opposing offenses and create extra possessions makes her a valuable addition to the Pronghorns.
In addition to basketball, Christiansen is a standout track and field athlete, earning a state championship in the triple jump as a junior after placing second at state her sophomore year.
Off the court, Lauren has excelled academically, maintaining a 3.98 GPA and earning High Honor Roll recognition. She plans to pursue a degree in Nursing.
Lauren shared why she chose Gillette College:
"I chose Gillette college because I really liked the campus and and I loved meeting the girls and the coaches. I believe it will be a program that will help me to grow and be successful and somewhere that I will feel good at."
