Balanced Attack Fuels Pronghorns’ 11–0 Run
The Gillette College Pronghorns have come out swinging to start the 2025 volleyball season, racing to an impressive 11–0 record. Depth and balance have been the key, with multiple players stepping up to make their mark on both sides of the net.
Sophomore Mackenzie King has paced the offense, already racking up 90 kills to lead the Pronghorns' attack. At the controls, Tatum Gardiner has kept the offense humming, dishing out a team-high 211 assists, ensuring hitters are in rhythm and keeping opponents on their heels.
On the outside, freshman standout Yardley, a Southern Utah native, has quickly proven she belongs at this level. Paired with Paige Riedesel, the duo forms a formidable one-two punch on the pins, giving Gillette multiple scoring options in crunch time.
Defensively, Paige Rose has anchored the back row with 93 digs, consistently keeping rallies alive and providing the spark that fuels the team's transition game.
With their undefeated start, the Pronghorns have established themselves as one of the hottest teams in the region. As conference play looms, Gillette will look to build on its strong chemistry and depth to keep the winning streak alive.
"All 17 players have found a way to contribute to the success of the early start. I'm excited to see how the rest of the season pans out."
